German Health Systems (GHS) has announced that it has reached the 1 million enrolment mark for its new K-12 enrolment programme.
The German health system had already surpassed 1 million enrolled children in January.
The GHS programme aims to get 1 million more children enrolled by 2020.GHS announced that enrollment for its 1 million children in the K-13 and 14-year-old cohort is currently at about 60%.
“The programme has already helped to achieve the goal of having at least 1 million new enrolments for all schools and colleges in Germany,” said Hans-Peter Ziemann, CEO of the German Health System.
The GHS aims to make K-11 and K-15 compulsory for students to complete their schooling.
The programme has also helped to improve the quality of healthcare in Germany.
